Anydesk Keyboard Not Working On Remote Computer

A client of ours running a remote desktop of Windows 2012 R2, Terminal Server was having issues where when they typed on their local keyboard, it would appear on the server as alternating uppercase and lowercase letters like this «RiPtIdE HOsTiNg».
THE SOLUTION is to change the RDP settings on the client
How to remote control a Windows PC with AnyDesk on iPhone
First of all, you need to download and install AnyDesk on to the computer with which you want to establish a remote connection. You will also need to install the AnyDesk app for iPhone and iPad from the App Store before beginning the procedure.
- Open AnyDesk on your Windows PC and make a note of your computer’s AnyDesk address located in the left pane. Now, click on the lines icon located in the upper right corner of the window and go to «Settings».
- Next, go to the «Security» section and check the «Enable unattended access» box as shown in the screenshot below. You will be prompted to set a preferred password.
- Now open the AnyDesk app on your iPhone or iPad.
- Enter the AnyDesk address of your computer and tap «Connect».
- Now, type the password you set on the desktop client and tap «Apply». Enable the option to sign in automatically from now on, to avoid having to enter the password every time you connect to your PC.
- This will establish the remote desktop connection. You can swipe from the left or right side of your screen when your device is in landscape mode to access the on-screen keyword for typing. To end the remote desktop session at any time, simply drag your finger to the «X» icon at the bottom after swiping left or right.
Network problems
Users often complain about the following problems:
- Waiting for the image.
- This desktop is not available. Make sure AnyDesk is running on the remote computer and is connected to the Internet.
- AnyDesk is not connected to the server. Please check your internet connection.
Request elevated rights
If the keyboard does not work even after you have been allowed to access it, request elevated rights. Windows has a User Access Control Center that prevents other users from making changes to a computer without permission from the system administrator. These restrictions may prevent you from accessing the remote computer’s keyboard and mouse. Then follow these steps to request elevated rights to the remote computer:
- In AnyDesk, go to the «Action» menu.
- From the options provided, select «Request elevation».
- The remote computer user should receive a prompt asking them to accept the rights elevation. Once they have allowed the request, you should receive a new session request.
- Accept the new session request to operate the remote computer with elevated rights.
- The keyboard should now start working once the new session starts running.
