How To Connect Remote Desktop Using Anydesk

To get started, open AnyDesk. The number you see on the left is your personal ID. People can use this number to access your device, and you need this number of the person you want to connect with. Type the remote device ID in the search bar on the right. Don’t forget: Never give access to your device to anyone you don’t know and beware of online scammers!

What if you are at home, but want to have unattended access to your work PC at the office, where there is no one to accept the session request? Take a look at your security settings – there you can set up a password and two-factor authentication for unattended access. How to Remote Control a Windows PC with AnyDesk on iPhone

First, you need to download and install AnyDesk on the computer you want to establish a remote connection with. You will also need to install the AnyDesk app for iPhone and iPad from the App Store before beginning the procedure.

  1. Open AnyDesk on your Windows PC and make a note of your computer’s AnyDesk address located in the left pane. Now, click on the lines icon located in the upper right corner of the window and go to «Settings».

  5. Now, type the password you set on the desktop client and tap «Apply». Enable the option to sign in automatically from now on, to avoid having to enter the password every time you connect to your PC.
  6. This will establish the remote desktop connection. You can swipe from the left or right side of your screen when your device is in landscape mode to access the on-screen keyword for typing. To end the remote desktop session at any time, simply drag your finger to the «X» icon at the bottom after swiping left or right.

Microsoft Remote Desktop among the most notable free competitors to AnyDesk because it is so popular and easy to use. However, it generally has more limited functionality than AnyDesk. This solution works similarly to Chrome Remote Desktop: simply install the client on your computer, and if you want to use the mobile app, download the app from your mobile device’s app store.
