How To Control Other Phone Using Anydesk

Wherever you are in the world, you can remotely access and control your computer with AnyDesk. And when we say anywhere, we mean it!

You just got out of the office and are hoping for a quiet night, so you left your laptop at work. You’re already on the train when you get a message from your coworker who needs his help and asks you to connect to his computer with AnyDesk. Now??!!

Disable permissions

Remote desktop software is for more than just screen sharing. But if you just want to invite someone to view your screen, we recommend that you disable all permissions. That way, they can’t control your smartphone remotely. They can just lay back and watch as if they are looking over their shoulder. Just go to security settings and uncheck all permissions.

Once you open the AnyDesk for Android app, you will see a number titled «Your Address» on the home screen. Give this number to the person you want to share your screen with and tell them to enter it into AnyDesk. The field is named «Remote Desktop» or «Remote Address», depending on the application.

Remote access to an Android device from another Android using Anydesk

Similarly, you can control an Android device from your PC, or even another Android device. To do that, enter the AnyDesk address of the Android device you want to remote control into the AnyDesk app on the Android device you want to control it from. On the Android device that you want to access from another device, tap START NOW and tap OK. Once you do, you should immediately see your screen mirrored to the other Android device. See the screenshots below:

Besides AnyDesk, there are many other apps and tools that can help you control an Android device from another Android or PC. You can use TeamViewer, InkWire or AirDroid and AirMirror duo apps. When it comes to ease of use, InkWire comes second only to AnyDesk.

Chrome Remote Desktop

Price: Free.

Chrome Remote Desktop, developed by Google, is free remote access software for Android and other operating systems. It is a simple application that does not provide the feature set of commercial software, but allows users to connect to a remote computer from their Android device. The tool can be run on any system that supports the Chrome browser.

Step 1: Remote Device

First of all, you will need to install AnyDesk on both devices. The device we want to control is the remote device and the device that controls it is called host/your device. The black screenshots are for the remote device, while the white screenshot is for the host/your device.

We assume that the remote device is with your friends/family. So first, ask your friends or family members to install the AnyDesk Remote Control app on their Android.
