Two-factor authentication is not a feature of AnyDesk that everyone uses. The software developer mainly recommends it to those who are setting up unattended access to their machine or mobile device. That being said, even if you have all the credentials but have enabled 2FA, the software will prohibit access to your account. Unless you can do one of the following, that is:
Enter a 6-digit code sent via SMS to the registered phone number or authenticator app (Microsoft Authenticator, Google Authenticator, FreeOTP)
Enter your recovery key. This is a failsafe in case you are unable to enter the above code. This is the code that AnyDesk suggested you print or save for safekeeping when you first enabled two-factor authentication.
What is AnyDesk unattended access?
AnyDeskUnattended access is a secure method of accessing a remote device without the physical presence of anyone around the device. You can take control of the remote device and use its file manager, clipboard, audio, screen to draw, etc. It is also possible to record a video of the remote session.

Allow keyboard access
If AnyDesk’s keyboard isn’t working, the main reason may be that someone using the remote computer you’re trying to connect to has disabled access to their keyboard and mouse. Ask them to allow you access to the keyboard by following the steps below:
Open AnyDesk and click the three horizontal lines in the upper right corner of the screen.
Select «Privacy» in the left sidebar.
Check the «Control my device’s keyboard and mouse» option to complete the process.
How to enable unattended access to your computer and set a password using AnyDesk
1. First, install the application. If you haven’t downloaded the app yet, please visit AnyDesk. Once you have downloaded the app, a temporary version will be installed. To install the correct PC version, click «Install AnyDesk».
2. Click «Accept and Install» 3. Click «Set Password for Unattended Access»
AnyDesk mouse does not work.
Make sure «Control my computer’s keyboard and mouse» is checked. In some cases, starting AnyDesk as an administrator on the remote side can resolve this issue.
If you find that the Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V hotkeys do not work, please enable the following options: “Control my computer keyboard and mouse”, “Access my computer clipboard”, “Access my computer’s clipboard to transfer files” on the Security tab.
